Personal --> Books --> Macintosh

The Handbook of the perfect user (Macintosh of course...)

Publisher
Year
ISBN
Tziola
1997
960-7219-62-7

Personal comment: I've written that book with love. It was an order from the (known in our town) Apple-dealer Gounis, who firstly told me "write a book about Mac, to give it out with every new computer sold", but afterwards did not accept it! Another dark story, so I went to Tziolas and told him "Should We publish a book, that You'll lose your money?" and he told me "All right!" So, there's the book!

Moral: If you want to publish a book, go straight to Tziola! He's a good entrepreneur and a clean man, which seems to be valuable at our times...

Content: It covers the Macintosh platform in a way you won't fint in any PC-book! Look at the contents below to see what I mean. My scope was: when a novice user byes a Mac and takes the book with it, he wants to be able to operate the computer, understanding at the same time what realy happens under the cover (the way the computer is operating) and why it realy happens (eg, the basic IT principles)! And by finishing the work with the book, this user should have a "spherical view" of the computer world in its basic points.
To achieve this scope, I went away from the boundaries of the Macintosh (almost the half of the book!) and described issues affecting all computer users in general. So, I came upon the idea to rewrite the book, this time for all users, describing through a more general view the computer world. I've started already with it, but due to time constraints, its... frozen! See here for details.

This book is not recommended, because the OS versions are far beyond MacOS 8.0, covered in the book.

It is recommended if:
1. You are Macintosh user and have money to waste.
2. You're interested in reading general computer issues in simple words.

You can have a writing example (2 pages) here in Adobe.pdf
